Meredith serves G3 in an advisory capacity. She does not deliver G3’s family services or intervention work; her role is to review the guidance we publish and hold it to a clinical standard. When a page here explains how addiction affects the brain, what withdrawal can look like, or when a symptom needs medical evaluation, Meredith is one of the people making sure it is accurate, current, and safe to read.
Families in crisis deserve to know that the education they lean on was checked by someone who has spent a career in the room with substance use, mental health, and the systems that surround them. That is the standard she holds our library to.

Dual-licensed clinician
Meredith holds both an LPC Supervisor license and an LCDC in Texas, a combination that lets her see substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions as one clinical picture rather than two separate problems.
Supervisor and educator
As an LPC-S she trains and supervises other counselors, and through her private practice she provides therapy, consulting, and clinical supervision. Reviewing educational content is a natural extension of that teaching role.
Systems experience
Her work has spanned the Austin recovery community and youth-serving systems, giving her a wide view of how families, treatment, and the law intersect when someone is in crisis.
