Professional Interventionist in Colorado
Intervention and Navigation for Colorado families
From the Front Range to the mountain towns, we help Colorado families replace fear with a plan and a way forward.
In Colorado the crisis often hides in plain sight: a good job, a mountain town, a family that keeps covering. What breaks the pattern is one honest, prepared conversation.
We prepare every person who will be in the room, hold the intervention, and handle the drive over the passes to the program that actually fits.
Where we work in Colorado
Western Slope towns, the San Luis Valley, and ski communities where winter closes roads are all within reach. We travel to Colorado, and we can begin by video the same day if the weather says wait.
What happens when you call
From your first call to the first day of treatment.
One confidential call
You tell us what is happening. No script and no pressure. We listen for the details that change the plan: the substances, the history, the risk, and who is actually in the family.
We build the plan around you
We choose the model that fits, decide who should be in the room, and confirm a treatment bed that matches the clinical need and the budget — in Denver, elsewhere in Colorado, or out of state if that is genuinely better.
We coach everyone first
Nobody walks in cold. Each person rehearses what they will say, and we plan for the pushback so a hard moment does not derail the room.
The day, and the road after
Matt leads the conversation and keeps the tone steady. When the answer is yes, travel is already arranged and our transport team goes with them.
How we help
Three ways we support Colorado families.
Family Intervention
A planned, coached conversation that unites your family behind one message and one clear option to say yes to.
Explore →02Treatment Navigation
Independent placement with no referral fees, matched to the clinical need and your budget rather than a facility’s marketing deal.
Explore →03Sober Transport
When a yes means travelling to care, a trained escort stays with your loved one every mile of the way.
Explore →How we prepare a Colorado family
Nobody improvises this well. Every word in the room is decided before anyone sits down.
Preparation is what separates an intervention that works from a confrontation that backfires. We spend time on the phone learning your family, then help each person write and rehearse what they will say. We agree in advance on the program and the plan, so the meeting itself is calm and the yes has somewhere to go immediately. We lead the room, and we stay in touch through the first days after admission.
One thing we tell every Colorado family early: your loved one does not have to hit some imagined rock bottom before this can work. Waiting for a catastrophe is a myth that costs lives. A well-timed, well-prepared conversation can reach someone while they still have a job, a relationship, and a reason to say yes, and that head start often makes recovery more durable.
Denver, the Front Range, and the mountain towns
We serve the whole state. Along the Front Range, the Denver metro, Aurora, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and Boulder are all within easy reach. In the mountain resort communities and out on the Western Slope, distance to the right program is often significant, and we plan for it. When travel would only cost days, a well-run virtual meeting keeps things moving. Altitude and long drives are part of Colorado life, and we build them into the plan.
Colorado has strong treatment resources, but not every program is the right one for your loved one, and marketing does not tell you which is which. Because we accept no referral fees, we can say plainly what fits and what does not. We help you understand detox and residential care, weigh in-state and out-of-state options, and read what your insurance covers. Steady yourself first with our guide to the right treatment center.
Colorado’s landscape of care is broad, from well-known residential programs to strong outpatient networks along the Front Range. Broad is not the same as easy to navigate, though, and the right choice depends on details a marketing page will not tell you. We ask the questions that matter, whether the program handles co-occurring mental health conditions, what its medical coverage looks like, and how it defines success, so your decision rests on substance rather than reputation.
Independent navigation without referral fees
Sober transport across Colorado
A yes can fade in the hours it takes to reach a program, especially on a long mountain drive or through an airport. Our sober transport sends a trained companion to travel with your loved one from anywhere in Colorado to the program door, keeping them safe and steady the entire way. Whether the destination is a program in the Denver area or one out of state, the companion stays until admission is complete, so your family is not managing the most delicate part of the day from a distance.
Family-led, nationwide
You will reach Matt or Hannah, not a call center.
Wherever you are in Colorado, one confidential call starts it. We assess your situation and tell you honestly what the right next step is — even when that answer is not us.
Crisis, safety, and 911
If your loved one has overdosed or is in immediate danger, call 911 now, and call or text 988 any time for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Colorado, like many states, has civil commitment provisions that can compel evaluation or care in narrow, specific circumstances, but the rules vary, so confirm them with a local attorney or the court. An intervention is for the serious situation that is not yet an emergency, and we will always tell you to seek medical help first when that is what the moment requires.
Common questions
Colorado families ask us this first.
Do you serve mountain and Western Slope communities, not just Denver?
How do you choose a program if we are not sure what our loved one needs?
Can Colorado compel someone into treatment?
What does your service cost?
You see a flat fee before you commit to anything. It covers the assessment call, one on one coaching for everybody who will speak in the room, the intervention itself, and treatment navigation through admission. Travel is billed at actual cost, which in Colorado can mean a mountain drive or a flight out of Denver, and sober transport is quoted separately. We take no referral fees from treatment programs, so the fee is the whole of what we earn and the recommendation stays honest.
What if our loved one says no?
A well prepared intervention is designed so that no is survivable. Your family says its part once, without escalation, and the boundaries you set are ones you can actually hold through the next month. Many people who refuse in the room reach out days later, which is why we keep the program option and the logistics live rather than closing the file. We also keep working with you, because when the family stops carrying the addiction, the answer often changes on its own.
What happens once treatment starts?
Admission is the beginning of the work, not the end of yours. We stay in touch with the program and with you, translate what you hear on the first family calls, and start planning the return before discharge is announced. In Colorado that plan often includes sober living on the Front Range, a therapist who understands the drinking culture in a resort town, and an honest look at whether coming straight home is wise. We also point the family toward its own support, because that part is not optional.
