Our Team

A small team, on purpose.
You get the founders.

There is no intake department here, and no one hands your family off. The people listed below are the people who answer the phone, sit in the room, and stay on the line after the plane lands.

Matt and Hannah Gibson, founders of G3 Recovery Interventions and Consulting
Matt Gibson
Founder · Certified Interventionist (CAI)
In long-term recovery since 2017. Leads intervention strategy and delivery.

Founder & Certified Interventionist

He fought his way out of it.

Matt fought a severe addiction through his twenties and lost nearly everything, including a roof over his head. He found lasting recovery in 2017 and has spent the years since learning how to walk other families out of the same cycle.

He is a Certified Interventionist working across both substance use and mental health, and he carries the intervention itself: reading the family system, choosing the model that fits it rather than the one that is easiest to run, and staying steady in the room when the conversation gets hard.

Matt and Hannah opened two sober living homes in the Austin area in 2022 and launched G3 in 2025.

Co-Founder & Case Manager

She sat in that chair.

In 2013 Hannah’s family held an intervention for her. It saved her life. She is one of the few people your loved one will meet who has been on the receiving end of the exact conversation you are about to have, and who can say honestly how it felt from that side of the room.

Hannah co-founded G3 and has been there since the first day. As Case Manager she owns what happens after the yes: matching the person to a program that actually fits rather than the one with a bed open, handling the logistics families cannot think clearly about in a crisis, staying in contact with the treatment team, and holding the thread through discharge and into whatever comes next.

She also leads the family-consulting side of the practice, working with the people around the person: the spouse, the parents, the adult children. That is where the longest work happens, and it is the part most programs never touch.

How we work

One team, from the first call to the last one.

01

You reach a founder, not a queue.

The person who picks up is the person who will be in the room. There is no intake team relaying your situation to someone you have not met.

02

Intervention and case management are one job.

Getting a yes is not the finish line. Matt carries the intervention, Hannah carries what happens next, and neither hands the family off in between.

03

Clinical guidance sits behind us.

Our educational content is reviewed by a licensed clinician. That work happens behind the scenes so the family in crisis always works directly with the G3 team.

Advisors

The people who hold us to a standard.

Matt and Hannah lead the family work. Behind them, G3 leans on experienced clinicians to keep our guidance accurate and safe. They advise the practice and review what we publish. The family in crisis always works directly with the G3 team.

In an advisory role

A clinical eyeon our work.

Meredith advises G3 and reviews our educational content for clinical accuracy. Her dual licensure in professional counseling and chemical dependency means the guidance we put in front of families has been checked by someone who understands addiction and mental health as one picture rather than two.

Her role is behind the guidance, not in the living room.

The next step is a conversation

Talk to the people who will actually be there.

One call begins it. No pressure, no judgment, just a path forward.
