Who We Are
Addiction runs in families.
So does recovery.
G3 was built by two people who lived the cycle from the inside, then spent their lives learning how to walk other families out of it. This is who we are, and why we do this work.
The people behind G3
We have walked in your shoes. Both pairs.
Hannah sat in the chair your loved one will sit in. Her family held an intervention for her in 2013, and it saved her life. Matt fought a severe addiction through his twenties, lost everything including a roof over his head, and found recovery in 2017.
They rebuilt their lives, and the relationships within each of their family systems, over the first few years of their sobriety. After welcoming their daughter, Hunter, in 2022, they opened two sober living homes in the Austin area. During and prior to this time, they were involved in a number of interventions, case management, and family consulting. 2025 brought the birth of their son, Wyatt, and the leap to officially launch G3 Recovery Interventions and Consulting. Matt and Hannah are passionate about breaking the generational tide that often comes with substance use disorder and mental health concerns.
When you call G3, you are not talking to a call center. You are talking to two people who have lived both sides of this conversation.
What we believe
Three convictions that shape everything we do.
The right approach, not a formula.
No single script works for every family. We assess your situation, choose the method that actually fits it, whether gentle or direct, and carry it out with skill and care.
The family heals together.
Addiction and mental illness are family experiences, so recovery has to be a family process. We do not just move one person toward treatment. We help the whole system change.
Lived experience leads.
We have been through it. That is why families trust us in the hardest moment of their lives, and why we never treat a person in crisis as a case file.
The proof
Credentials and outcomes families can stand on.
Advisors
The people who hold us to a standard.
Matt and Hannah lead the family work. Behind the scenes, G3 leans on experienced clinicians to keep our guidance accurate and safe. They advise the practice and review what we publish; the family in crisis always works directly with the G3 team.

In an advisory role
A clinical eyeon our work.
Meredith advises G3 and reviews our educational content for clinical accuracy. Her dual licensure in professional counseling and chemical dependency means the guidance we put in front of families has been checked by someone who understands both addiction and mental health as one picture.
Her role is behind the guidance, not in the living room. When you call G3, you are working with Matt, Hannah, and our team, backed by the standard Meredith helps us hold.
The next step is a conversation
Your family does not have to figure this out alone.
One call begins it. No pressure, no judgment, just a path forward.
