Matt Gibson, CAI-I, and Hannah Gibson are in long-term recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Hannah struggled with alcoholism in her late teens and early 20s but committed to treatment after an intervention in 2013. Matt battled severe addiction throughout his 20s, which led to homelessness and despair, but he found recovery in 2017, inspired by others who had achieved freedom through recovery.
Before achieving sobriety, their addictions and selfish behaviors deeply strained their family relationships, causing heartbreak and a loss of trust. Through sobriety, family consulting, and consistent effort, they’ve rebuilt those relationships and restored trust, creating stronger bonds and healthy communication with their loved ones.

TURNING PERSONAL TRIALS INTO A PURPOSEFUL MISSION
Since getting sober, Matt has worked in addiction and mental health treatment, and in 2022, he and Hannah opened their first sober living home after welcoming their daughter. They discovered a passion for supporting individuals struggling and their families, dedicating countless hours to mentoring clients and coaching families on healthy communication and boundaries. Some of the commonalities between individuals who were successful are a strong foundation of communication, love, and respect as they rebuilt their relationships. Their experience has shown that a personalized approach fosters lasting recovery and healing for both individuals and their loved ones. In addition, Matt earned certification in the ARISE intervention modality with numerous successful interventions since.
