No mystery, no pressure

What happens when you call.

You reach Matt or Hannah, not a call center. The first conversation is free, confidential, and only as long as you need it to be. We work the high acuity end of this field, so nothing you describe is going to be too much. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you pick up the phone.

1

A real conversation

You reach Matt or Hannah, not a call center. Tell them what is happening in your own words. They will listen, ask a few questions, and tell you honestly whether an intervention, for substance use or a mental health crisis, is the right move. Free and completely confidential.

Usually 20 to 30 minutes
2

A plan within days

We assess your family’s situation, prepare every participant, select the right treatment options in advance, and set the timing. You will know exactly what the process costs and exactly what is included before anything begins.

Transparent scope and pricing, in writing
3

We read the acuity, not just the story

Before anything is planned we work out what we are actually dealing with. Substance use, a psychiatric presentation, or the two tangled together, which is the more common case. That judgment decides everything after it, because a plan built for the wrong problem tends to fail in week three rather than on the day.

Where most of the real work happens
4

The day itself

Everyone who will be in the room has been coached, and every likely reaction has been rehearsed, including a flat no. Matt facilitates. The goal is a genuine yes offered in a way your loved one can accept without shame, and the room stays calm because it was prepared, not because anyone got lucky.

Nothing about it is improvised
5

Straight into care

The placement was chosen and confirmed before anyone sat down, so a yes does not expire while the family starts making calls. If travel is needed, a companion goes door to door. Because G3 takes no referral fees, the destination was picked for clinical fit and nothing else.

Often the same day
6

We do not leave

Through the intervention, the drive to treatment, and the months that follow, G3 stays with your family. Coaching, consulting, and check-ins continue long after the crisis has passed, because that is when the real rebuilding happens.

Support that outlasts the intervention

What to expect

No script. No judgment. No obligation.

You will not be sold to, rushed, or made to feel ashamed. The first call exists to give your family clarity, even if you decide an intervention is not the right step right now. Either way, you will hang up knowing more than when you dialed.

    Plainly

The questions people are afraid to ask on the phone.

    What does it cost?
It depends on the model, the travel, and what the case turns out to need, so a single number on a web page would be a guess. You will get a real one on the first call, before you commit to anything. G3 takes no referral fees from treatment centres, so nothing we recommend pays us.
What if we call and you tell us we do not need an intervention?
Then that is what we tell you. A fair number of the families who call us need family consulting, a different level of care, or simply a clearer read on what they are looking at. Saying so is the job. We would rather lose the work than run an intervention that was the wrong instrument.
How fast can you get here?
Often within days. We are based in Austin and we travel to all fifty states, and interstate logistics are ours to manage rather than yours. Availability changes, which is why the honest answer comes on the phone and not from a page.
What do I need to have ready before I call?
Nothing. You do not need a diagnosis, a timeline, or a plan. Most people who call us cannot name what is wrong, and working that out is part of the work rather than a prerequisite for starting it.
Will you tell us to cut them off?
No. Cutting off is rarely the answer and it is not our default advice. We help you set boundaries that protect you while keeping the relationship open, because the relationship is usually what eventually brings someone to treatment.
What if this is an emergency right now?
An intervention is a planned conversation, and a crisis is a situation where planning is itself the risk. If your loved one is in immediate danger, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911. Then call us, and we will pick up from wherever that leaves you.

There is hope for your family, too

You don’t have to do this alone.

One confidential call, and two people on the other end who have been exactly where your family is standing right now.
